Senior’s voice#1 NAKAZAWA Ryo

I decided to join by the recommendation of my senior from baseball club who was working here. 
When I see vehicles having parts I made, it makes me proud. 

This company was introduced by my teacher who was in charge of employment when I was a high school student. I was very much interested when coming to know the business of this company. However, since deciding where to work is important, I was troubled because I could not decide only with my teacher’s recommendation.

At that time, I heeded the advice of my senior from club activities. I used to be enrolled in the baseball club since junior high school and continued on through my high school years. I came to know that one of the seniors who instructed me in my club activities was working in this company and decided to ask about the company straightly. My senior listened to me intently and after thinking for a little while, he answered; “I think it is a good company so you should apply for a job”. My heart was fixed after I received such advice.

It was a great deal for me then to listen to my senior’s opinion face to face, who was actually working in this company. I felt that the weights the words bore were different.

What is the atmosphere of the workplace, and is it worthwhile? 

I am assigned to the Press･Forming Group. Here, we manufacture automotive parts by pouring iron materials into a mold. There are many things to memorize to carry out the task and it is not easy. However, I feel it very worthwhile. When I go out on the street and see cars which I handled the making of parts for, I feel a little proud and happy for strongly feeling that my job is actually being put into good use in the world.

Even there is wide range of age in the workers in my workplace, the atmosphere is very good. Everybody is getting along with each other well and is friendly. I have even been asked for advice from my superior who is older than my father about his child. I feel that being able to enjoy the associations with people of other generations is one of the merits working in this company.
Further, I sometimes have the opportunity to talk about each other’s workplaces with my friends from school and there are many who are troubled about their work environment. At that time I truly feel that I have been really blessed.

3 years has passed since I have joined this company, and from last year I am in a position to have a junior worker working under me in the workplace. Even though I am still far from being experienced, I wish to continue putting forth effort, and face the tasks by positively sharing the knowledge with my seniors.
